I can't believe I didn't put that in the music meme, that's one of my favorite verses ever. Funny, considering I dislike the song itself and most of the rest of the lyrics.

So I've got this bug bite on the back of my left knee. No idea how it got there, since I'm sort of an indoor kitty these days. But it is more distressing than any bug bite I've ever had. It seems to take up more space than it should; there is a focal point like a zit, but upon close inspection you can see and feel that there's also a sort of under-the-skin streak of itchiness and pain, plus the outlying areas. It is driving me battty. I tried icing it to bring the swelling down, I sacrificed a leaf off the aloe plant -- nothing works. I've just put some sort of ointment on it that my mother recommended, but so far no relief.

Man, this sucks. I have to wear pants to work, d'you realize that? You can't easily scratch with pants on. And I have to close tonight, so it's not as if I can fake a faint and go home early. Daaaaaaaammit.

Funny thing is, I read a fic yesterday in which Draco went camping and became covered in mosquito bites and I was like, "Dude, I feel your pain." 'Twas a nice little fic. Didn't end quite as shippily as I'd hoped, but the author's treatment of spoiled, whiny Draco was hysterical.
