I finally got the "Ripley" DVD to work and I flipped to a scene with Matt Damon at the piano talking to Jack Davenport because gahhhhhhshootmenow.

And this movie? It's like the Gayest Thing Ever. This is right up there with the best eyefucking on "Smallville," with that last Legolas --> Aragorn look in RotK, with the sword-stroking "Only a little" in PotC (which may not being the Gayest Thing Ever, but is definitely the most Blatantly Sexual Thing Disney's Ever Permitted).

It's AWESOME.

Perhaps I should watch the whole thing now...

I'm watching PotC for the eighty four thousandth time and deciding to focus on stuff I wouldn't normally notice. It's been paying off. Tip of the moment: on the dock after Jack rescues Elizabeth, try watching the Governor the whole time. I'm usually just catatonic at the Sparrington goodness, but after the third attempt at trying to view the scene from a different angle (I watched Murtogg [or is it Mullroy? I can't keep them straight] once, but all he does is puff his chest out), I was cracking up at Jonathan Pryce.The "eww" look he gives Norrington as he reaches for Jack's hand (*pause for my heart to flutter*) and the way he smirks when Norrington makes cracks...

That's just it. Governor Swann is a Norrington fan.

He's a Norrington fangirl.

Bwaha, this is fun.

ETA: I've got it paused on Norrington pouting his lips. He could be whistling or he could be blowing smoke or he could be...

I love this movie...it works on so many levels...
