Oh HELL no. I did not just get attacked in the shower by a Commodore-is-possessed-by-the-evil-twin-spirit-of-the-Black-Pearl plot bunny. And it did not sound quite so ridiculous in my head, although it did feel like a horribly derivative "The Exorcist" crossed with a bad episode of "Buffy."

But it does NOT EXIST. It's going to make like Monty Python's Knight of the Round Table and RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

I don't have the powers of concentration necessary to catch up on my lyricspam, but since I'm loving Aimee Mann at the moment, I can at least offer some lyrics for today.

Sigh. I have a really late polysci essay to write tomorrow (it was due Wednesday). And again, not quite able to bring myself to care. In other news, I made my FIRST EVER order from Amazon! It was very exciting. I got "Big Fish," "Cry Baby," and "Ed Wood." I really wanted "Master and Commander," but it was hella expensive and, much as I loveadoreworship it, I know I'm going to watch "Big Fish" over and over and over when it arrives. It's the rare movie that would have made it into the Holy Four if it had been made fifteen or twenty years ago, like PotC. I hope it all gets here before the 9th, though, because that's when my ass is outta here.

Damn, I'm going to miss the river so much. I think I might be getting addicted to living near the water.

Oh yes. And with the supernatural fic that has also turned into a BtVS crossover? Jack is currently trying to pick up a vampire in a bar in Tortuga, where the as-yet-unnamed slayer is watching him and trying to figure out his deal (sample dialogue I might not be able to resist: "You've touched immortality. And you're quite fey." "I am not fey!" *skeptical looks* "Well...maybe a little.") James, meanwhile, is being molested by the evil spirit in his dreams. One thing Jack, the Pearl, and the demon-thing all agree upon is that he is one nice piece of ass.

::shakes head:: I suppose that means I've stopped fighting.

Also trying to work through a Will/James backstory to "Honey and the Moon." I've gotten them slightly drunk and rolling around on the floor of the smithy, but James is being a prig and Will's feelings are more hurt than I thought they would be. Silly boys, the bed is that way.

I really need some more Aimee Mann.
