Oh my god. "My Girl" is on Encore and all of a sudden I'm seven years old and my cousin Nancy is calling my mother to make sure I can watch a PG-13 movie. "It's just because it's sad," she says, wheedling a little.

My childhood wouldn't have been the same without this movie.
