VM is back! ::bounces:: Oh Kristin Bell's perfect line deliveries, how I missed you. And there was Weevil to boot! The big reveal at the end was kind of disappointing -- not the plot twist itself, but they way they handled it was clunky, and that's not typical of the show. But overall, I loved it.
Is anybody watching the History Channel "Conquest of America" thing? Dad's taping it for me, but I want to know if it's as good as it looked.
Advising meeting today. Charlebois was completely flummoxed to hear that I was not in fact going to be an English major, but she did give me a name in the Soan department to look up. Proposed schedule for next semester includes Social Statistics (with a LAB ::whines::), Archaeology and Prehistory, Sociology of Gender, and Death and Dying (juniors have to take philosophy courses from a category called Values Inquiry, and that's the best of next year's choices). Of course, one or possibly all of these classes is guaranteed to fill up by the time I register on Monday morning. Vanessa, in contrast, gets to register on Friday because she has enough credits to bump her up a year. Not unfair, but definitely unfortunate on my side.
Even though CLASSES WERE CANCELLED FOR ADVISING MEETINGS TODAY, Richardson made us meet. We were just watching "Young Frankenstein," but still, going to class vs. not going to class...besides which, I own it and have seen it numerous times.
Still, Madeline Kahn is fantastic and my favorite part of the movie by far. "You men are all alike! Seven or eight quick ones and then you're out with the boys to boast and brag. Well, you better keep your mouth shut! Oh I think I love him!."
