Did I mention that my dad shaved his head? When I say that, I mean his entire head, not just the top -- basically everything but the eyebrows. He looks like....
...the naked mole-rat
...somebody should hand him a picture of the Pope to tear on live TV
...his sister, my Aunt Sharon, after she had chemo
...a blotchy Uncle Fester
...the ass of that hairless beed of cat -- the sphinx, I think?
I'm not kidding here. It's terrible. He shaved off his mustache a couple times when I was little (and scared the dickens out of me), but never anything this drastic. I can't look at him when I talk to him.
And of course, no doubt because my mother and I hate the new look and are not hesitant to tell him so, he thinks it's just the greatest thing since sliced bread.
::shudders:: It ain't right.
