Jesus. Nine of the twenty most recent posts on my flist are
rightclicklick.
I love my school. Called the international education office this morning to see if my scholarships will still be applicable if I study abroad, and the lady in the office chatted with me for ten minutes and was all excited and helpful. And I mean, everybody's like that. I double-checked with financial and they said that yes, both the delegate scholarship and the school's would transfer. Which is good to know, because now we won't have to borrow that extra money. Sometime soon, I have to -- have to -- set up a meeting to discuss what exactly I am going to do. Among the programs SMCM offers, I could go to Costa Rica, Hong Kong, or Thailand and study pretty much anything, if I understood correctly. That isn't precisely what I want, but if it's the most affordable, then I'll go. The lady at the office also said something about the program at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies in England (Oxford, I think) is opening up to include a broader range of study, even though it will still be affiliated with the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. That would be the ideal scenario, but she didn't really know the details and I need more information.
But it will be done. The study abroad, she will be done. Because I want to travel so much it makes me sick, and because it makes sense to do it now when we're already spending an absurd amount of money for education. Although my mother said that if something were to happen and I didn't get to study abroad, they'd help pay for a couple of weeks' vacation in Europe after graduation.
I also love my parents.
Baseball game tonight. Good times. Ballpark food.
