The computers in the WC lab have been fixed! Huzzah! I'd be far more joyful if it were the Machine That Shall Not Be Named, but at least now I only have to walk halfway across the Commons and not all the way over to LQ. And I can read fic in here, since it's nice and private and nobody ever comes in but me because no one else's computer sucks monkey balls.
Speaking of monkey balls, TDS's "Evolution, Schmevolution" series has been great so far. If only Jon Stewart could teach me about all sciences. And he was so sincerely thrilled to be interviewing Kurt Vonnegut last night. Um, is it terrible that I've never read any Vonnegut? I will remedy that soon. Right now I'm working my way through The Source by James Michener, who is Daddy's favorite author of all time. I read about half of it in high school, but it defeated me. Fucker is long and complex.
What else is up..."Gilmore Girls" premiere last night -- a solid opener, if not a stunner. It filled me with unholy glee to see Rory suffer. And there was naked Luke. And Babette grabbing her boobs as she ran. For some reason I found that hysterical.
Ness has got a cousin's wedding to attend, so she'll be leaving Thursday, which means I'm on my own for another weekend. I plan to spend it writing. No, seriously. Don't look at me like that. I may not be able to handle the earthquake fic, but I've got last requests and Brothers in Arms to wrap up.
Man, I am uninteresting these days.
