the Dalaverse

Before I forget, I must share news of the ducks. Remember the Sparrington ducks at my school -- two white ducks I named Jack and James? Well, they've expanded their fleet. Now there are four ducks. The new ones are slightly smaller and one of them is speckled. You get one guess at their names.

They're still up to the old tricks of terrorizing the mallard ducks, but now they're much bolder as well. They waddle up the path to the campus center and sun themselves by the fountain. Personally I think they're the duck equivalents of fabu's "Squaring Accounts."

I so need an OT4 duck icon, dammit.

Have a Social Interaction exam today, but it's all multiple choice. After Dr. Adams' exams, that doesn't even count.

My computer is healed! The Internet worksworksworksworks! HUZZAH!!!

According to Vanessa, a tech from LTR came by while I was at work and fixed it. I have no idea what he did, but the new network card is now installed. Man must be a genius. I have his room number and plan to stop by tomorrow with my profuse thanks. Possibly some cookies.

And now I can start restoring my files. Which mostly means PORN. I can't get iTunes to recognize my iPod, but I will troll the Apple message boards for the solution to that problem later. FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN DESK.
