the Dalaverse

I'm staying at Jessie's tonight for her birthday. For her twenty-first birthday. I do not work until 6 tomorrow evening.

Mom: You could work at the office with me tomorrow morning.
Dala:...No, I really couldn't.
Mom: Just for a few hours.
Dala:...........

I have received yet another thing that never got wrapped for Christmas, which is annoying. However, it is flavored honey sticks, so YAY STRAWBERRY HONEY.

Sigh. The parents are booking a hotel for when they come to visit, and apparently this is not simply an issue of choosing the least expensive in order to have more spending money, but for close and intensive study.

Mom: Hey, I wonder if any of those hotels offer an AARP discount?
Dala: American Association of Retired Persons, Ma.
Mom: Oh yeah.

I think I need a nap.
