I am, as always celebrating with "1776," "Independence Day," and the most awesome episodes of "The Twilight Zone" that they always save for last (hi, Burgess Meredith and foxy young Shatner). I missed half of "1776," but I got to see it at Ford's Theatre a couple months ago so I'm not too fussed. Plus, you know, knowing the whole score by heart.
I might have power back, but I don't know for sure since I'm at my parents' house waiting for pizza. Do you know how hard it is to eat like a normal person when you don't have working fridge? Very hard.
But anyway, happy Fourth, my fellow Americans. Now we just have to wait for it to roll back around to the weekend where it belongs.
ETA: Mr. Hammond, I think we're back in business! Brb going to stick my head in the freezer.
