AND WHERE THE FUCK IS LOCKE?!

I didn't have a special attachment to Boone, but man, the two actors nailed that last scene. I was sobbing.

Kate: finally not useless, no matter how hard she tried in the first half of the ep.

Claire: poor kid. I totally buy her wandering off on her own, completely in denial that she's having her kid on a deserted island with fucking polar bears and the Iron Giant. And then when she thought the baby would know she didn't want it -- awwww.

Jack: ::groans:: Did we really need ANOTHER flashback? It took me all the way until he pulled Boone out of the crazy leg-guillotine to let go of my dislike.

Sun: my heroine. Jack smackdown, arcane medical knowledge, all of it.

Sawyer: loved him just a little bit for immediately recognizing the severity of the situation and offering his help. Also, his bonding with Mercutio was cute.

Walt: hardly in it, but that 'Wow!' look when Claire showed him the baby cracked me up.

Charlie: annoying when he was questioning Jack, even though Jack's still an ass. Cute with the pacing outside the bedroom door in the jungle five feet from the birth of Fake Peanut Butter Baby.

Jin: first, gahhhhhhhh SO HOT. And then, awesomely competant despite the language barrier. And when his face split into this giant grin after the birth, I squeed. In my underpants area, even.

Sayid: still ridiculously hot. I was glad for the "hopes, but not expectations" line, because the moment he said "no expectations" I snorted in disbelief.

Shannon: Goddamn, Maggie Grace is good. I think she might be the best actor on the show. I actually sympathized with her fumbling attempts to deal with her developing relationship like a grownup, and then when Jack tells her...I admit, I'm a sucker for the music-over-silent-bad-news-receiving (or the voiceover-over-nearly-silent-bad-news-receiving, as in the case of "Passion)

Okay, that's done. Anyway, this one affected me too. The way she stepped back on the beach, and then she just stared at Boone's body for a few seconds before the tears came...

::whimpers:: Hi. I'll just be, uh, over there.
