'Kay, that was weird. Not just that I had a riding dream, but that I was at PHC, which yeah, it's been forever. But my recollection of it was weirdly accurate -- we were in the indoor ring in the barn, the horse in the stall by the stairs where Snickers used to be was cribbing and I scolded him, there was a foal sticking its head over the office door (which some lady picked up and held like a puppy, for some reason), the office was the exactly the same.
Except I don't think the office had a Dutch door, and I don't remember the windows to the ring being there, so it wasn't perfectly accurate. Which is good, because that freaked me out. And now I'm having flashbacks to the last time I would have been at PHC, when Jessie talked me into doing the interschool show after I'd already quit, and I dreaded it so much that I threw up, and then it was cancelled anyway. I was really angry at her for asking me. Why was she always able to talk me into anything? She kept calling even after I hung up on her and she offered to let me ride Toro, and I just wanted to kill her for bringing everything to the surface when I hadn't really come to terms with it yet. It was so shitty.
*blinkblink* Wallowing over now.
Also, I woke up with that stupid song by the stupid thirteen year old from last summer stuck in my head.
