the Dalaverse

Last night was the first time I got to work a full shift with Megan. Probably will not be happening again. We bugged the crap out of Paul, and bent a pole, and unbuttoned a (stupid fucking nonsensical) duvet which we couldn't put back up on display. But he still let us off an hour and a half early, so we headed over to Ruby Tuesdays. Drinks of any kind aren't listed on the regular menu, so we were combing through it and the waitress was like "Are you looking for the alcohol?" We sighed and said, unfortunately not. So Meg got a milkshake and I got a virgin strawberry daquiri, and we split nachos. Darlene was there with a friend of hers and I squeaked and hugged her. Haven't seen her since...cripes, I don't think since school started. Must go to the movies or something before she goes back to Towson.

I'm a little overwrought on this particular Father's Day. I might channel it into some sappy Swannfic, I don't know. I was supposed to go see SW with Daddy, but he has to work so we've put it off till tomorrow. I'll likely just sit around and watch TV, working up the energy to write if I can.
