the_dala at 04:30pm on 25/07/2005The heat, oh the HEAT. Granted, it claims to be only 83 degrees, but that is 83 degrees in D.C.-speak -- the humidity is at 66% and it feels like 105.
It is so hot that I am volutarily going to the pool, because immersing myself in cold water until my skin turns pruney seems to be the only sane option. And MY BATHING SUIT IS CUTE, GODDAMMIT. Plus, ice cream man! (Perhaps I will put forth my round-the-clock ice cream service idea to Moe. We could split the profits.)
Hmmm. As per Dr. Marc's new rules, we are only supposed to call the office if it's an emergency. Surely my need to know where the hell my pool card is qualifies as an emergency.
