::stretches:: Ahhhh, to wake to the sweet purr of my own computer once again.
It's Family Weekend on campus and I am very disappointed that there's some stupid BBQ thing today instead of brunch. I want an omelette, dammit.
The ducks must have had a spat yesterday. Elizabeth was sitting by the path and Jack was preening himself next to her, with Will and James nowhere in sight. I swear I am not making this up. I could tell it was Jack the second time I passed them because he's the one with the bum left wing. Unless the other two wandered up to Route 5 and got hit by a car, in which case I will be very sad. But James should know better than that.
The library claims I did not return "The Duchess and the Devil." This is very distressing, not only because I know I dropped it in the slot, but if it's somehow been lost I won't be able to check it out again. Also, I haven't been able to watch "Lawrence of Arabia" because it's on VHS and there are no subtitles. For some reason, I really prefer watching DVDs with the subtitles turned on. Every now and then I'll watch one of my favorites, something I know all the words to like PotC or TPB, with the Spanish subtitles on to refresh my memory.
