We won something! We won Quiz Night! Okay, we didn't actually win Quiz Night, but we did guess the landlord's round correctly (how many glasses of beer did they sell today; it was 30, and we were closest at 24) and win a gallon of beer. One free pint apiece, and the way we worked it out, we actually got a greater monetary value than the people on the three winning teams who split the money. And the bragging rights are worth more than gold.

Also, it was fricken cold tonight. I had to hold my chip box to my nose to keep it from falling off.

(The subject line is in reference to a geography/capitals question about the capital known as the White City, which is actually Helsinki. Annie drew the battle of Pelennor Fields on the quiz sheet, complete with city, orcs, elephantollythingwithtrunk, Bill the pony, and two guys either wrestling or having sex, take your pick. I think we all know what my pick was.)

I feel more like myself than I have in a long time. This is a Good Thing.
