the Dalaverse

Last night was a flurry of activity in the hall -- Gwen bought lots of stuff for decorating. Wrapping paper, bows, garland, paper, markers, etc. We gift-wrapped out door (including a little card to us from Santa :), made a Christmas tree message-paper, and cut up a red-green-and-white Christmas suit for Dracula, who got moved to the front of the door for the ocassion. With the lights strung up in the room, it's very festive, and it began to feel like Christmas was just around the corner.

Then, when I was sleeping, it must have hit me that this would be my first Christmas without Snake, because I had a dream about him. I don't really want to think about it right now. I'm writing a new kitten into "For Want of a Nail."
