God, I hate Christopher so much. It makes me physically ill to see him macking on Lorelai. As great as the movie date was, it was so fucking obvious that his sole goal was her va-jay-jay, to borrow a term from Dr. Miranda Bailey. Manipulative, smarmy BASTARD. Seriously, SO MUCH HATE. He makes me dislike Lorelai, and that's about 60% of the show right there. I've never had beef with Lorelai! With every other character on the show from time to time, but Lauren Graham has always sold Lorelai to me, heart and soul. Even in this stupid pseudo-relationship, she just seems so aimless and uncertain and desperate to be happy, and it's saddening. It makes me want to give up and pretend the whole final season isn't happening, except of course for the last episode because you know Luke and Lorelai are going to end up together. Gahhh. Bite me, CW.

I liked Rory at the art show, but her new friends made me miss Louise and Madeleine. The Gia character was too Gia-like, and I was distracted by her supremely ugly short dress.

I do not care about April.

Basically the only decent part of the show was the whole cell phone conversation, because hey, Emily's driving, why is Emily driving herself? Oh! I bet she's gonna get pulled over! OMG she's totally gonna get arrested! But then...they didn't do anything with it. Even Lorelai's glee didn't get nearly the screen time it deserved (they could have easily substituted more Emily-in-jail for Lorelai/Christopher face suckage). Oh, and Sookie getting on Lorelai's case was good too.

Bleah. I'm just so bitter. It was all I could do to not switch over to "Ever After" on ABC Family.

Hee to Veronica's cheerleader impression. The playbook plot seems...off, somehow, though. Maybe it's the guy playing the meathead. I like his girlfriend, though

"Not by no means least"? Oh, Veronica! Unless this is some reference to the writer she pulled from the stacks, that's way worse than "supposably."

Team Keith and Weevil is my new favorite thing ever.

Geez, that was a short honeymoon for Veronica and Logan. They're both on top of their banter game, however, so I can't complain. Oooh, I love the song after their not-quite-fight -- must look it up.

Dammit! No hitting, Weevil, no hit! Again, this is something that might've been stretched over a couple of episodes to maximize impact, some actual onscreen evidence of Weevil kicking sleuthing ass (pun unintented)...

I'm liking Piz a lot more this week.

I take it back, I liked the A-plot and the dean b-plot this week -- it was a nice mesh.

Veronica gets Weevil a job, take 2! I like it.

"Maybe most people would say they'd never install a tracking device on their significant other's car, but I think that's just because they don't know how." Now that's vintage Veronica, and it's a good way to bring up conflict between them. Not that Logan couldn't manage it on his own, but V's just going to compound the problem here.

::winces:: V's conversation with the girlfriend was very heavyhanded.

Teehee. I would totally listen to Piz's radio show, and the whole feminists vs. zine boys thing was entertaining and then turned out to be relevant to the rape arc. Good job with that one.

Awww, Logan and the donkeys. This is also a really nice song playing in the background. I know I've heard it before. TWoP, here I come. And I'm glad this was a temporary glitch, although I'm sure their issues will come up again.

Ha! Dinner party! I'm so looking forward to those three actors sitting around a table together. I hope it goes on the whole hour.

Yay, "Ever After" is still on! One of my favorite comfort movies, one of those movies I feel compelled to watch whenever it's on TV even though I own it, never-get-sick-of-it movies ::settles down:: Aww, I need an icon for it.

"She's your match, Henry!" Ooooh, I love it so much ::whimpers::
Mood:: 'bitchy' bitchy
