Well, here I am again.
I don't know. It's weird. It's not that I hate it here, it's just...I miss my home. I miss my friends. And it's all hard and stuff.
I was kind of a wreck on the way back from the Mexican restaurant, where I said goodbye to the folks. I cried a bit, then "Sweet Child o' Mine" came on the radio and I decided to keep driving down 5 so I could listen to it. Music soothes what ails me, after all, and by the time I got down to the Confederate monument (my favorite thing in the county, a little piece of D.C. in the middle of southern Maryland) and back, I was mostly stable.
This song reminds me of Tina, though, so I'm more than a little sad.
At least I'll be able to catch the "Smallville" ep I missed tonight.
Sigh. I'm in a strange, off-ish mood. I think being surrounded by people is affecting me.
