the_dala at 10:04pm on 27/04/2007Gahhhh. Liz and I went to the Interchorus cconcert tonight, and the last song they sang was the Spice Girls' classic "2 Become 1." Please oh please, does anybody have it? If I don't listen to this song and get it out of my head, I will go fucking insane.
The concert itself was really good -- Vegas themed. My last SMCM a capella concert...I wish I had gone to see the others, but TNA is just not the same without Marianna. They had an all-male group from College Park as guests, and they were awesome. I'm not sure if they actually sang better than the C-men, but they were better performers. They were funny. Two of them came out in scrubs and sang the "Guy Love" song from the musical episode of "Scrubs;" I think that was my favorite part. Then Interchorus came on, and their best song was a tie between "I Believe In a Thing Called Love" (on which Hank falsettoed to his heart's content) and an awesome "Vehicle." They also did an interesting ensemble arrangement of "Somewhere," and "All These Things That I've Done," which actually doesn't work very well a capella, but did remind me what an incredible song it is.
But the actual best part was a subplot in which a guy in blue tights and a tube dress kissed another guy. Reason #485820 why I love my school: random a capella slash to rousing applause.
And now Liz and I are watching DMC. Yay pirates! I only wish I had some rum for the world's best drinking game -- except I'd cut it down to every OTHER time something happens. Otherwise, bad things happen. Tina knows this. I think I might work on those 5 things, too.

Also, Catholic Sailor is still the best extra in DMC.
