the Dalaverse

Dude. I just popped into CoBP, after talking myself out of taking the exit to the movie theater on the way home, and I only lasted a minute into the first scene, because James showed up - "I intend to see to it that every man gets what he deserves" and then Weatherby - "Yes, that's what concerns me" - and I was bawling all over again. I'm going to go back down and continue, I just had to come take a deep breath.

I've never been through this before. For the other fandoms in which I wrote - and in neither one did I consider myself really a part of the fandom as I do for PotC - my interest just sort of faded along with my writing. Even when BtVS ended, it wasn't like this - I didn't have the world and the words and the characters with their claws stuck fast in my heart. It hurts to think that the films are over.* It's exciting, and I did so love AWE, but...damn.

I expect this will be a primarily fannish space for a bit now.
