the Dalaverse

I'm currently working my way through the AWE extras. If you forget about the shameful lack of deleted scenes and commentaries, they're really pretty good. I'm not one for behind-the-scenes stuff in general, but the work that goes into creating the PotC universe in which we play is extraordinary and fascinating. So far my favorite fun fact is this:

A lot of thought and detail went into the design of the map to World's End. But nobody put more into it than the designer, who pricked his finger and bled on the damn thing. For the ambiance, y'know?

I just - that is some dedication, right there.
