For some reason I woke up around four this morning. I don't know why. Right before I went to sleep, I was committing J/N dialogue to memory so I hoped that I might have piratey dreams, but no. Instead I dreamed that I went to Megan's church and Jennifer Garner was there. Which is interesting, considering that I don't watch "Alias."
Anyway, I'm flopping around aimlessly, thinking of not only the new h/c bunny but also of a possible angle for the next chapter of "Nail," when all of a sudden a new bunny hits me. A crossover bunny. A PotC/Princess Bride crossover bunny. A Jack/Inigo PotC/Princess Bride crossover bunny.
See, this is why I both love and hate my Jack muse. He's a difficult fellow to track down, but once I finally get a handle on him he won't shut up.
I can't believe I've never seen this concept before, though. They're both seeking revenge. They're both pretty much alone in the world. They're both some type of outlaw. They're around the same age (if you set it, as I plan to, a couple of years after the mutiny and ten or so years after Domingo's death; also I'll have to write Jack as younger, because I usually go with the theory that he's Johnny Depp's actual age, which is 40).
I'm actually rather excited about this. But that's not the end of the story! Not at all. See, eventually I fell back asleep, and when I woke up yet another idea popped into my head: I had a strange yearning to write a Murtogg/Mullroy fic.
Yes, really.
That one has less chance of actually happening, but it's a thought.
