IT'S FINALLY HERE



Japanese trailer because the extra last shot make me squeak and burst into tears. Only dogs and other Trek fans can hear the sounds I am making right now.

Initial thoughts, spoilery only for the trailer:
--I like the gray/black costumes; the updated uniforms are nice but it's good to have variety in a two-hour movie
--Pine's hair looks perfect, and his eyes look SO FREAKING BLUE in that first shot of him. AND he's all banged up and bruised again yessss gimme gimme
--BONES! Jumping off the cliff with Kirk, all Butch Cassidy and Sundance style! AND that's him in the background where Kirk is making eyes at Alice Eve, looking annoyed, which made me chortle
--Speaking of, she's got Elizabeth Dehner hair, no? And she's wearing blue which rules Rand out (sadface). This points towards Gary Mitchell...
--...despite that final shot, which I think is misdirection to get the fanthings all het up. TOTALLY WORKING BTW
--But I could be wrong. It could be KHAN ALL ALONG. JJ would do that to us in a heartbeat. He is a lying liar who lies. It's probably not Khan, though, for the simple reason that Cumberbatch could never live up to that magnificent chest
--I've decided to reserve my judgement on the Nolan-ness of the teaser poster, the atmosphere/washed-out color palette of this trailer, and the obnoxious blaring horns. It's probably just the studio pushing what sells, right? Tell me I'm right.
--I totally thought that was Pike in the Scotty-comforting-Uhura scene. They've really Doohan-ed Simon Pegg up, it looks good.


My level of excite has been at 11 all day, you guys.
