Yeeehaw, I'm back into a good mood again.
I did panic myself into a corner with the Hamlet paper, but I should've expected that. I managed to put it off even further before I dragged myself to the library (though in my defense, I thought it opened at 9:00 rather than 8:00), where I discovered that Noelle had indeed checked out the only copy of the three versions of Hamlet. laylah_r lurves me and sent me links to two of them online, and I sniffed around for the third. And yes, Richardson told me I'd have to go out and find the actual texts, but at least I had something on which to base the rough draft. And it turned out to be far more interesting than I'd anticipated. Also giant thanks to commodorified -- I might take you up on that editing off once I'm finished :) Either of you want a gift ficlet? Ask me for a (reasonable :)) PotC pairing and...I dunno, an object or a color or a word, and ye shall receive whatever I can whip up with it.
Anyway. Now that that's over with, I still have a (stupidfreakin) assignment to do from that library tutorial from two weeks ago. How incredibly moronic is it that I have to go and do fake research and turn it in to the librarian? I know how to use the damn system by now, thank you. And after that I've got a Polysci essay about an election issue to write, which is due at noon tomorrow and will get written as soon as...I figure out what the hell election issue concerns me. I did gay marriage the first time around, now I've got to come up with something new.
Note to self: Will fic-a-thon story. Write it.
OH! I almost forgot! I get to live in a suite next year ::boogies:: Some of the girls from our hall were getting a ten-person suite and a couple of their roommates fell through, so they asked me and Ness if we wanted in. And we GOT the suite! (Probably in no small part thanks to Vanessa's 41 credits. And she's a freshman. I mean, I'm plenty proud of my measly little 24, but dayam with the AP tests, chile). So yes, this sure as hell beats living in the dorms.
And I'm going home tomorrow! Hanging out with Meg and La Fern and Beth, at some point! WOOOOOOO.
