::beams:: Dammit, I love this place.
We learned how to rig the boats in sailing today. Mike literally just dropped us on the deck and said, "Figure it out." Which we managed to do, but then when we were taking the sails down, we somehow lost track of the line holding the boom up (the halyard? I think...don't laugh at me...). So whoever's got our boat next is probably not going to be a happy camper. We didn't break anything, we just...didn't leave it as we found it.
It's still miserably hot, but the wind coming off the river is so nice I don't even mind being in the sun. And all I have to do for tomorrow is Richardson's journal, which is on Edith Hamilton, which I read in seventh grade.
I didn't realize the professor of the soc class I'm dropping (i.e. didn't show up on Tuesday, haven't yet contacted the professor) is the department head. That's...bad. I'm a dumbass.
Movies from Netflix should start coming in soon. First batch ended up being girly stuff Ness and I can enjoy together -- "The Prince and Me," "Ella Enchanted," and "Love Actually."
Then comes "Pulp Fiction" :) And "Neverwhere," and I think the Hornblower movies, and after that I've lost track.
::bounces:: Wednesdays are awesome.

"Pulp Fiction" - nice
"Neverwhere" - very, very good, if you don´t mind the low budget
"Hornblower" - can´t fault your taste
"The Prince and Me" - excuse me whilst I succomb to wounded national pride
