Attempting to study for a bio quiz, so I'm listening to my downloaded collection of movie themes, which is the traditional background study music.

Except it's distracting me because the theme from "Rudy" never fails to move me to tears. And I've never even seem the bloody movie. It's just a beautiful piece of music.
Mood:: 'busy' busy
Music:: theme from "the cider house rules," rachel portman

Re: downloaded collection of movie themes, which is the traditional background study music...

Do you have "The Rocketeer"? An obscure Disney flick, but the music! OMG. We went to the Disney concert at the Hollywood Bowl recently and the symphony played it right after intermission, and it was the most memorably wonderful point of that wonderful evening.

Good luck with the quiz.

I actually remember that movie! My cousins had it. I shall remember to look for the music.

And thanks :) It went well, I hope.

Film soundtracks are the only things I can listen to while studying. Partly because humming along isn't as disruptive as singing. :D

Yeah, that's definitely it :) Although I had to stop listening to the PotC soundtrack because I got way too into it.
