Since I don't have to set foot outside my room for the rest of the day, suggestions for good rainy-day music? My tastes are pretty evident in scrolling down the page, if you're not sure. Has to be good for writing, too.

And download everything she has to offer. I am so, so in love with the song "Whore Baby" right now.

Was it you who asked for wacky fun music mixes a few weeks ago? I'll make you one, if you still want it.

What else... Well, I'm going to assume you have any U2, but "Electrical Storm" is perfect rainy day music and Zooropa is one of my favorite rainy day albums. Achtung Baby's pretty good rainy day music too.
Counting Crows are another of my favorite rainy day bands
and I can't believe it took me so long to think of him! Leonard Cohen is like the Ultimate in rainy day writing music. And I have some Cohen in my CD case right now too, which I can happily send to you if you're interested.
What else...
The Lighting Seeds would be good today. David Gray of course. Oooh, the new K.D. Lang album would be glorious, I think I may listen to that myself.
You know, you shouldn't ask for music recs, I could go on and on and on... And this is just restricted myself to stuff I could conceivably provide you with.

And yesterday was Best of 1990-2000, which covered a lot of bases :) I'm still going to make my own single-disc version one of these days, because I wasn't very pleased with the official release.
