Meg, if you're reading this, you might want to...not click the thingies. But I know you will anyway. Don't yell at me if you've already seen these shots.

DVD Changes to 'Star Wars' (no one is ever, ever going to call it "A New Hope," you know)
DVD Changes to 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi'

George Lucas, you are a rat bastard and I hope you rot in the spice mines of Kessel.

Why? WHY? WHY?! ::bursts into tears::

Of course it's still the first thing on my Christmas list. And when they eventually release all six films on DVD, or possibly the original editions, or anything with the famous deleted scenes, I will buy that too. That doesn't mean I can't bitch about it, and about Episode III a day or so after I've seen it, when the euphoria has worn off.
Mood:: 'annoyed' annoyed
Music:: how come i don't have any star wars icons? where are they all, dammit?

Yeah, I told you about replacing the last shot with the three ghosts. You should read his interview in Entertainment. Apparently, this is how the movies "should have been". I blame the crack. But please, please explain to me why Darth Vader doesn't deserve eyebrows?? As for his defense of Episodes 1 and 2, it's not the ideas of the movies we didn't like, George. It was the crappy acting and goofy computer crap. I don't even want to know the reasoning behind Jar Jar. Pick actors instead of faces next time! Except for Ewan MacGregor. And Samuel L. Jackson. And Yoda. Although I still believe the latter should have stayed in puppet form. The end.
