An Elizabeth who's neither a shallow materialistic spoiled snob nor a raging bitch nor an impossibly perfect know-it-all who never makes a mistake, and a James who isn't evil or a complete holier-than-thou stick and who learns to relax a little. And it provides my minimum required daily allowance of Jack/Will romance. Very, very nice.
Which reminds me: did you ever continue "Ankles All the Way"? I remember liking that one too.
Nah, I kind of gave up on it. I could see myself continuing it, but I'd have to rework the whole thing to include Elizabeth's point of view, because I'm not happy that it's strictly he-said.
