Okay. Does somebody have a monster fucking drumset upstairs? Or a raging Civil War battle on a very small battlefield? What the fuck is going on?!

A couple - a rather big-boned and tall couple - live upstairs with their two basset hounds. If I'm not being assailed by large people chasing dogs back and forth above my head for hours on end (like rogue oliphaunts), I'm being serenaded by muted basset lowing - sometimes in unison, sometimes alternating kind of like how we used to sing "Row Your Boat" in elementary school).

You know, I've seen the dogs out being walked, and I'm not sure they're all that highly intelligent. Like Bob Dole, I think they just like the sounds of their own voices.
