Notes to Self:

1. Keep all keys on dorky lanyard keyring.
2. Take dorky lanyard along whenever leaving suite, especially if roommate will be unavailable.
3. Memorize suitemates' phone numbers.
4. Find out who locked the suite door at 7:00 on a Saturday night.
5. Kill her.

Yes indeed, I was just locked out my suite while doing laundry. Wandered to Kristen's room; she's home for the weekend. Alexis and Lauren are likewise gone, so throwing stones at their window was a no-go. Wandered around into the creepy ditch in back of the quad, where I discovered that the only room with lights on is my own. Went back to put laundry in dryer, had moment of reliefe when I found key in jeans pocket -- then realized it was the mailbox key, detached earlier today. Barged into the suite next door to use a guy named John's phone to call public safety, which tells me that the officers are out on call so it will be awhile. John tells me that RA is gone this weekend, but the RHC across the quad might have a master key. He does, and he lets me in.

And then I come here and WHIIIIIIIIIINE.

Also, you know how my Bio prof is a dirty old man? On Friday he said 'erection' instead of 'eruption.' So...yeah.

Watched the last two Hornblower movies today. Missed a certain somebody very dearly, ran hot and cold on Horatio himself, shivered every time Bush bellowed. And [livejournal.com profile] fairestcat, you're right -- Maria was much more sympathetic on film. Although "Horry" sounds no better spoken aloud that it looks on paper.Seriously, that is the worst nickname ever.
Mood:: 'annoyed' annoyed

When I was a freshman, security used to come by and lock our doors if they found them unlocked with us out of them. This was allegedly to teach us to lock them ourselves. One night, after a long nasty shift in the dining hall, my friend Kim went to take a shower and asked me to keep an eye on her door. I told the security guard who wandered by not to lock it. He failed to comply. She called him and when he came to unlock it, stood outside her door in a towel, dripping all over the floor, and bitched him out.

They changed the policy after that.

*snicker* It's not as if we ever lock the door anyway, to either the room or the suite. I have no idea how it happened. But I was too embarassed to mention it to anyone.

"I have shared a berth with Lt Bush....'

I believe my smirk was actually audible.
