AUGGGGH.
Dear Writer of Tonight's "Gilmore Girls" Episode,
Doyle, aka Danny Strong, aka Jonathan, is the editor in chief of the Yale newspaper and a certified little geekwad. As such, he would certainly use sarcastic catchphrases accurately. It is "I couldn't care less," NOT "I could care less." Because if you could care less, you are not conveying the proper level of nonchalance/dismissal that the phrase is meant to convey.
This is really easy. No, it is. LOOK at the phrase and determine whether or not IT MAKES SENSE.
