AUGGGGH.

Dear Writer of Tonight's "Gilmore Girls" Episode,

Doyle, aka Danny Strong, aka Jonathan, is the editor in chief of the Yale newspaper and a certified little geekwad. As such, he would certainly use sarcastic catchphrases accurately. It is "I couldn't care less," NOT "I could care less." Because if you could care less, you are not conveying the proper level of nonchalance/dismissal that the phrase is meant to convey.

This is really easy. No, it is. LOOK at the phrase and determine whether or not IT MAKES SENSE.

Volunteering for an staff editing position,

Dala

Hee! It's one of the things that really stuck with me. That, and there's no need for 'irregardless' because it means the same thing as 'regardless,' which was why I cracked up when one of the dumb girls in "Mean Girls" said 'irregardless' -- it was obviously intentional. Now that's clever writing.

It'd probably be a more effective resume if you'd written "a staff editing position" instead.

Ah, one of my pet hates. I feel like sporking someone whenever I read "I could care less".
