A series of open letters.

Dear Z104,

You have earned my undying loyalty by playing "Time Warp." I already appreciate the fact that you come in so clearly down here in SMC, and the admirable balance you strike between mix, rock, and pop station. You don't play the really horrid Top Forty stuff, you rock harder than the other granny mix stations, and you also get the memo that a particular song is officially over weeks and weeks before they do. But it's the surprise RHPS tune that really cements my love for you. Keep it up, Washington's Z104.

Dear Self,

Yes, hearing "Time Warp" on a radio station is awesome. It is not, however, possible to actually do the Time Warp while keeping control of the vehicle. I'm sorry, do you want to die?

Dumbass.

Dear Mix 107.3,

You are ten times dorkier than 106.5, and you always will be, and it's sad because you try so very hard to be hip. However, I forgive you all your transgressions for "'80s at 8."

Well, maybe not all. Everything except for assaulting my ears with "The Reason" every half-hour this past summer.

Dear Giant Puddle Pond Motherfucking Lake at the New Entrance Road,

I realize they finished the new entrance road .5 minutes before the freshman moved in back in in August, but honestly, it didn't rain that much. Try not to get so excited.

Dear Suitemate Who Refilled the Candy Bowl with Tootsie Rolls of All Flavors,

I love you.

Dear Netflix,

You are a whore. When I send my movies back on Sunday, it means I would like new ones before the weekend, please. So far, all you have sent me is the fifth disc of "Queer As Folk" S1, and a girl can only watch that throbbing, moaning, blue-lit pyramid of sweaty male bodies in Episode 18 so many times.

Like, maybe once more.

Dear Gale Harold and Randy Harrison,

Ya'll have fucking amazing chemisty. Please keep up the hot.
Music:: "dare you to move," switchfoot
Mood:: 'silly' silly
