WOOOOOOO.
Best exam I've taken so far this year. Wrote twice as much on the identifications as last time, and I whipped myself into such a frenzy over my essay that I'm now ready to rise up in a bloody revolution of some kind. The White House is only an hour and a few Metro stops away....
I think I got the map all right this time and did not, for example, put Quebec in Michigan. Except for Ceylon and Liverpool -- ::checks:: Fuck, I switched Liverpool to the east coast and I put Ceylon in Malaysia. But everything else should be right. And the identifications were hella extensive.
And now, to study for the Survey exam at 2:00. Which will be looking over the formulas for areas of polygons. No, I'm not kidding. That class is an embarrassment.
Um...I should post something solemn for Veterans Day. But the truth is, only my grandfather was in the armed forces, and he's been dead for fifteen years. So the holiday has never made much of an impact on my family. Still, though, I'll tell you this: you know those twisted ribbon stickers that go on cars? I see the yellow one for the troops most often, and then the pink one for breast cancer. And just once I think it would be neat to see a car with all of them -- yellow, pink, red, rainbow, red-white-and-blue, and anything else I'm not aware. That would be awesome.

it would, perhaps, have been more useful if you could have just shunted it half an inch or so into the Irish Sea.
