Meme gacked from [livejournal.com profile] linaerys: tell me the worst song you've ever heard, the worst movie you've ever seen, the worst TV show you've ever watched, and the worst book you ever read.

Song: I hate "Miami" by U2 with an extra-special strength because they're my favorite band, so it's just...embarrassing. "Miami, my mammy..." ::shudders::

Runners-up: "Roxanne" by the Police, "Last Kiss" by both Pearl Jam and whoever did it in the '50s, "An Innocent Man" by Billy Joel, "Silver Springs" by Fleetwood Mac, that Shaggy song where he sampled "Angel of the Morning"

Movie: "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." I'm easy when it comes to movies, and I wasn't even entertained by Sean Connery or the slashiness. Never finished watching it, it was so bad.

Runners-up: "Timeline," the remake of "The Shining," "The Passion of the Christ," "Excaliber," "The Mists of Avalon"

TV Show: I saw one episode of the People's Court with this truly fucked-up family airing their problems on national TV, and shouting and crying and getting therapy. It made me feel dirty.

Runners-up: stuff I haven't ever watched like "The Swan," "The Biggest Loser," "The Littlest Groom"

Book: I hate A Farewell to Arms. HATE it. Refused to finish it for AP Lit in high school. Probably won't ever read Hemingway unless somebody forces me.

Runners-up: The Stranger
Music:: "sunshine of your love," cream
Mood:: 'bored' bored

Song: I, too, hate that Shaggy song (and just about everything else I've heard by him). However, there are many others, but I'll just pick one at random: "You Are So Beautiful." UGH. If a guy played this for me, I'd leave him. No, really - to paraphrase Dave Barry, Joe Cocker sounds like he's getting his prostate examined by Captain Hook. UGH.

Movie: "Manos, The Hands of Fate" - and that's WITH the MST3K commentary; except for a few good lines, Joel and the 'bots just couldn't save it, I'm sorry. "A Night at the Roxbury" gets an Honorable Mention for giving me a migraine.

Book: "Ulysses" by James Joyce. What an overblown, overhyped piece of crap.
