the Dalaverse

Sleeeeeepy. Sarah's birthday was yesterday, so we had cake and pressies and stayed up late watching "Sex and the City." Rob freaked out when Michelle brought Wolfie out. I have never seen a guy so afraid of rodents before. He buried his face in Sarah's lap (DIRTY!) and refused to look up until she took the rat away. He actually shrieked a little. It was hysterical. Michelle: "I'll go back in the bathroom." Rob (really faintly, muffled): "It's okay, really." Vanessa was in bed really early, before 11, because she's driving to New York with Laura today and she had to get up at like 5:30 in the morning. The TV was kinda loud, and we were kinda loud, and she was definitely still awake when I came back in at 1 or so. Ah well, she left before I was awake this morning.

I had no intention of slogging through the rain to work, especially since I didn't have class after, so I drove over instead. And miraculously did not get ticketed for being parked at the campus center for two and a half hours. Thank you, Public Safety! And then I spent the whole time I was at work reminiscing, I guess because I'm going to visit Katherine. It was good times.

And now, to shower, to pack, and to haul my ass outta here and up to College Park. In the rain. On the Beltway. Where I will scream at all the passing drivers who don't have their headlights on EVEN THOUGH IT IS STATE LAW GRRRRRR.
