So I'm Packing My Bags for the Misty Mountains

Oh, I think I chased Vanessa out of the room. I was watching "Almost Famous" and she was trying to write a paper. She decided to go for a walk and is probably in the library now. Hey, it's not my fault she gets easily distracted. I totally would've turned it off if she'd asked.

On the plus side, Led Zeppelin is now soothing the memories of horrible whiny alt-God-rock or terribly sappy soft-God-rock or *full-body shudder* country. Honestly, yesterday she was listening to that song that is now part of a Chili's (?) commercial -- the one that goes "I like it, I love it, I want some more of it." I wasn't aware that people actually listened to that song. It made me vaguely suicidal.

it ALWAYS makes me happy when people leave me lj messages, so i thought id leave you one! well i got a job on campus! its at the trainers office (in the gym/weightroom), and all i have to do is watch the desk so today i read the whole time. for two hours. i am reading a joyce carol oats novel, *the tattooed girl*. just like me to pick up a book called that, huh! so i dont know my schedule though which really bites because i am going to a concert tomorow! melissa ferrick, shes an indie folk singer, have you heard of her? shes amazing. so, i just realized that i never call my parents. i have spoken to my mother on the phone ONCE since ive been here. and only a couple times through email. i dont know how i feel about that. what i DO know though, is that i am really tired, and school has just started! well, i think ive made my song desicions, so im off to email you! seeyou soon.
