"Lover Come Back," "Casablanca," and "Arsenic and Old Lace" in one night, over the course of which I learned these things:
1. Do not like the Rock Hudson/Doris Day thing. Do not like Doris Day. Do not like Doris Day singing. Found the script cheesy, the ending abrupt and pat, and the whole thing unsettling and mysogynistic even with a sense of perspective.
2. Have no idea how it was possible to live through nearly twenty years and not see "Casablanca." Better than "Citizen Kane;" screw you, American Film Institute.
3. Most insane thing ever seen. CHARRRRRRGE!!!!!
Game of Cranium in the common room, though fortunately (or un? one can never be sure) not the threatened Strip Cranium. Think go to bed now.

I never liked Hudson/Day either...yet many people say they're "classic" dunno why. At least I don't see it...and Doris Day's breathy voice just irritates the heck outta me!
I've heard of Arsenic and Old Lace..but what is it about?
Anyhoo, sleep well...
