Oh my god. I've just ruined about five different Christmas carols for all time.

Remember when there was that big stink over the use of "Lollipop" during a certain scene of "Jawbreaker" involving Rose McGowan and a blowjob?

Yeah, it's kinda like that. Only without the skank.

Just out of curiousity, as I'm trying to narrow it down, what do you think would be the best carol to hum at an...opportune moment? Traditional or not, I'm open to suggestion. Right now I'm using "Jingle Bell Rock."

I'm going to a really special Hell.
Mood:: 'embarrassed' embarrassed

No, I don't. Care to enlighten me?

I don't know any carols, but I'll submit "Adon Olam" to the tune of "Ode to Joy."

I'm pretty sure somebody tried to sue the producers for using the '60s bubble gum pop song in such a way. But I might not be remembering it correctly.

Adon Olam works to just about ANYTHING. We liked the theme from M*A*S*H when I was in junior congregation, but the Gilligan's Island theme works too, as does "Modern Major-General."

Heh, you naughty girl, you.
I dunno. Every time I think of christmas songs, "Deck the Halls" starts ringing in my ears and just. won't. stop.

Bwaha! Every time I think of "Deck the Halls," I sing the Chinese waiters' version from "A Christmas Story": "deck the haws wiv borws of horry, fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra."

Hmm - Christmas carols for opportune moments? Always depends on the kind of the moment, but I like "Rocking around the christmas tree"... ;)

Thank you... that definitely made me laugh.

I can't even consider coming up with something wittier than Mel's response.
