I need to do something productive, and I need to write, and the guilt factor is highly enhanced when that writing is for another person. So:

Drabble/ficlet requests. Make as many as you'd like. Character or pairing specific, including a word or a scenario you'd like to see, or not.

Day turned out surprisingly well. Worked with Darlene at the office, and we chattered till we were hoarse. She told me all about France, and I got to repeat a year's worth of stories she hasn't heard because we haven't seen each other in that long. We ditched early to hit Rio, where we had quesadillahs at Hamburger Hamlet. Why is it that there are like eighty-four thousand restaurants there now, and I still end up at HH nine times out of ten? Ah well. The waiter was cute, tall and reddish-blond, and Darlene somehow managed to talk me into leaving my name and number on the bill receipt. Shut up. I'm lonely and open to suggestion, and he isn't going to call anyway.

Then we saw "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," and I loved it muchly. Pure entertainment, and the writing was not nearly as insulting as I thought it would be. Once again, I could not find my car in the new parking garage. We got out on the right level and looked right at the Cheese, and yet we continued to go up and down the stairs for ten minutes. That lot is evil. On the way home, we caught "All These Things That I've Done" being premiered on 99.5, and that sent me into a squeefest because it's my favorite song off the album
