the Dalaverse

::blinks:: Well. I skipped my first class of the semester, not by any real inclination but because I woke up, showered, and vomited. I have no idea why. There was nothing in my stomach. I feel perfectly all right now. But I did feel it gave me license to go back to bed.

Speaking of bed, that's the third time Vanessa has neglected to mention she's not getting up at the usual time. It's a good thing I set my alarm just in case -- or it would have been, had I actually gone to class. Instead I slept with wet hair, which always does weird things to it.

Bleah to today.

On the bright side, yay to the weekend. Friday I'm driving home and putting the finishing touches on the costume. Saturday I will be going downtown for the National Book Festival. I think I'm supposed to meet Vanessa and Lisa at some point. Anybody else local going? The only authors I'm truly interested in seeing are Neil Gaiman and Diana Gabaldon, so I will probably wander over to the big peace rally...wherever. The Capitol or the Monument, I'm assuming. And then Sunday is the Renaissance Festival. WOOOOOT.

I have to admit, the "Lost" premiere left me kind of lukewarm. ( spoiler alert *BLANGBLANGBLANGBLANG* )
