::weeps:: There is no snow on the ground. No snow whatsoever. Technically there is still a winter weather advisory on till 10 this evening, but apparently that's not good enough for the college. The county public schools are out and they're on a Code 4! I don't know what that means, but it has to be bad!

You go to hell, college. You go to hell and you die.

ETA: IT'S SNOWING NOW. BIG FLUFFY WHITE STUFF. I DUNWANNA GO TO CLASS IN THE BIG FLUFFLY WHITE STUFF. SOON IT WILL FREEZE ON THE PATHS AND THEN YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS? WE SLIP AND WE DIE, FUCKERS.

I really, really, really, really, really do not want to go to class today. In case that wasn't evident.

If it makes you feel any better, I went to college for five years, walked in snow each winter and we were given 2 days off in all of that time and that was because snow was 3 feet high and we couldn't get out of the dorms.

While I fully sympathize with your wish for a class-free day,

commodorified and I are both arriving by plane today, and copious snowfall in DC may interfere with that.

Good show. I was upset that they didn't cancel school, but they cancelled everything after school. Tonight was the opening night of a play, and I'm on the running crew for it. So much fun, pushed to Sunday.

But I like snow.

I went to university in Little Greenland (aka, extreme northern Missouri), and in four years, those rat bastards canceled classes exactly ONCE. They're so used to snow and ice up there that it takes God Itself putting a thumb down and going *I SAID NO SCHOOL* to get out of going.
