Ran into some of the suitemates on the way back and first the rumor was that two pipe bombs were found in the Crescent, but now that's apparently false. It was really very exciting, in a surreal way. Everybody was gathered around the campus center, there were (real) cops everywhere, and cars, and bomb-sniffing dogs, and a firetruck, and somebody playing the bagbipes. Which probably didn't have anything to do with the investigation, but nonetheless added to the atmosphere.
Hmmm. This probably means I have to actually do the work I was whining about being dragged away from.
Nah. Time to put on real clothes, whip up some microwavable Chef Boyardee, and watch "The Office"!

*wonders if she should pay a visit, try and convince the not-cops that they'd have a much better time if they dressed up as pompously-wigged commodores*
