Okay. Okay. I just placed my amazon.com order for the U2 iPod, with standard shipping instead of free because I'm paranoid that it wouldn't get here before we go on vacation and would sit at my door and be stolen.

I think I'm hyperventilating a little. I had to call Meg with the pretense of asking about our schedules next week, but really just for moral support. Why am I freaking out? I spend more than this on books every semester. Nonethless...

Oh god, buyer's remorse. Nearly killed me when I bought my laptop. (I found myself "confessing" to those closest to me, as if they could forgive me or something.)

But hang in there! it goes away. Then comes the "eeeee! mine all mine!!" phase, which is the fun part :))
