Holy crap! George from song of the lioness! I read those books so many times I can still just about recite them. Did you ever read the followup series with Daine and the immortals? You're right, I would sleep with george.

Dude. Did I read them, or did I read them so many times I lost count? And I still turn into a puddle of fangirl glee when she releases a new book, and I still pay the ludicrous hardcover price for it immediately. And then read them all over again, in chronological order.

Alanna the first adventure was a record for me, because I literally read it five times in a row. Which was a bit extreme, but even so.
