My mother's beef stew. As far as stuff that's easy to get goes, Breyer's Vanilla Fudge Twirl or Oreos.
What are your comfort books?
The Little Prince and The Giving Tree travel from home to school with me. The Cat Who Came For Christmas, The Golden Compass, the Bunnicula books, The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, A Little Princess, A Wrinkle in Time, any Tamora Pierce...I'll just stop now, shall I?
What's your comfort outfit?
My green tiger flannels and my Jimmy Buffett shirt.
What's your comfort music?
The Indigo Girls, Jack Johnson, the "Garden State" soundtrack, Carole King, Joshua Tree, "In My Life," Born to Run (particularly "Thunder Road"); when I'm truly depressed, the only thing I can listen to is Joni Mitchell's Blue.

I have to renew my paid membership for the SOLE purpose of using my new "I Love Lucy" icons.

Sorry for dropping in uninvited, but I saw this on a friends-of-friends view. Just have to say, thank you for reminding me of the Bunnicula books! I read them when I was a child, and had totally forgotten about them until now. The mere memory of them has brought a huge grin to my face. Thanks again!
