CNN suspends Novak After He Walks Off Set
Oh my GOD I hope this happened before they taped "The Daily Show" today. Jon never misses an opportunity to lambast his little douchebag of liberty.
Movies watched recently and forgotten about till now: 1. "Heavenly Creatures" -- what a twisted little movie. Kate Winslet was so much better in this than in "Titanic." Peter Jackson, I never knew you had it in you. 2. "Aimee and Jaguar" -- heartbreaking and beautiful. Heartbreakingly beautiful. Both the storyline, and the actress playing Felice. 3. "Maria Full of Grace" -- wasn't Catalina Sandino Moreno nominated for a Best Actress Oscar last year? She was outstanding. The rest of performances were solid, too, although for some reason I'd thought it was a documentary.
Wooot! The Nats are back on track! 7-0! First grand-slam homerun EVER (I'm parroting my dad word for word).
aradiria, I forgive your fishies for embarrassing us :)
Perhaps it was watching an entire movie in Spanish, but I've a sudden desire for "Y Tu Mama Tambien" (crap, been too long since I had a proper class, forgotten where all the accents go). And the song that played in the trailer -- it was a cover of a classic, I think by the Bee Gees -- the one that goes "You don't know what it's like, to love somebody, to love somebody..." I have to find that now...::wanders off::

Comedycentral.com should have the downloads up in a couple of days, though. I recommend it. Jon was pleeeeased. There was a bit of nipple fondling.

I wish my roommate wasn't a complete homophobe -- she's fluent in German and I'd love to be able to recommend it.
